Slippbarinn is effectively the birthplace of the Reykjavik cocktail culture. Established in 2012 within the Berjaya Reykjavík Marina Hotel, it was the first bar in the city to focus on fresh, high-quality cocktails. These past years we have seen a cocktail revolution in Iceland with more and more high-level bars and establishments opening with a focus on hand-crafted cocktails, but Slippbarinn is still regarded as one of the most respected bars in town. The food and drinks are based on a classic foundation with a twist where emphasis is on fresh ingredients, interesting flavours and bold presentation.

The concept of Slippbarinn is that it will never be fully formed but ever-changing. The diverse cocktail menus are a collection of creative experiments drawn from the different backgrounds of the dynamic bar team and various artists.

Slippbíó is a 25-seat cinema with colorful and comfortable seats and is suitable for all kinds of presentations, lectures, exhibitions and meetings.
